Darshan Foods Pvt. Ltd. is located in the out skirt of Mahuva city in Gujarat State in India. The largest white onion producer (region) in India and is the Largest White Onion Producer in India. The climatic conditions and soil properties of our region are most suited to produce best quality white onions.

The company is spread across 100800 square feet area with new plant and a well equipped laboratory.

 

The plant was established in 2005 with a production capacity of 180 MT of final product per month, since then we have kept on improving our product quality. In 2008 we installed Auto Sortex and Metal Detector to ensure quality of the product.

The company is coming up with an expansion by next year to make a total production capacity to 300 MT of final product per month.

Mr. Jayantibhai R. Patel:

The entrepreneurial soul who dreamed and actualized the company is the MD of the company. With over 2 decades of experience in the onion business, he thought of forward integration to produce Dehydrated Onion Products. His vision is certainly going to help the company to achieve newer heights.

Dr. Nila Kakkad:

After her M. Sc. And Ph. D. in organic chemistry she worked for new drugs development for couple of years. She has some articles published in the international journals like IL Farmaco & Heterocyclic Communication in her credit. She came to associate herself with the company in year 2008 only. Her guidance helps the company to develop better and safer quality food products.

Mr. Jitesh Kakkad:

With his MBA with marketing as major and Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Operations he is best suited to head the marketing department of the company. He has got more than 10 years of versatile experience in different industries right from consumer products to dot com to industrial chemicals. The company is assured of developing customers in newer geographies under his leadership.
